Reading CEO, Dayong Pang, has spoken publicly for the first time since the club's relegation to affirm the owner's commitment.
Arriving at the club back in 2020, Pang is a close associate of owner Dai Yongge and replaced former figure Nigel Howe at the club.
Last speaking in 2021 after the club accepted a six-point deduction for breaching Profit and Sustainability regulations, he has come out again as the club announce that the women's side are set to work on a part-time basis after WSL relegation.
Working alongside former player and manager, Mark Bowen, to attempt to get the club back into the Championship- supporters are concerned at the lack of communcation from Yongge.
Having never conducted an interview, and just referred to as a 'private person' the businessman has overseen two points deductions and two relegations since his 2017 arrival.
"Our owner, Mr Dai Yongge, has his full focus concentrated on our club’s rebuild. He is fully committed to consolidating our efforts into a sensible and sustainable reset, designed to bring success back to RG2.”- Want to hear more, but feel that's as good as it'll get #readingfc

The Royals are yet to appoint a first-team manager since Paul Ince's sacking in April.
