Chelsea midfielder Omari Hutchinson is expected to be loaned out, according to reports.

The 19-year-old was repeatedly linked to a move to Berkshire last season, with his dad working for Reading.

Moving from Arsenal to Chelsea last summer, the teenager has made two appearances for the Blues in a disappointing season under Thomas Tuchel and Frank Lampard.

He was set to join West Brom on loan in January, but a move fell through at the last minute.

According to Darren Witcoop, of the Sunday Mirror: "Chelsea’s highly-rated winger Omari Hutchinson could head to the Championship this summer. Hutchinson saw a January loan move collapse after West Brom looked to have beaten off rival clubs - and there is again interest in the teenager in the second-tier."

Still without a first-team manager, almost two months after sacking Paul Ince, are yet to make any serious moves ahead of the transfer market opening on June 14.

12 first-team players have departed RG2 this summer, with six loan players returning to their parent clubs and another six moving on after their contracts expired.
