Reading have confirmed this month at six teenagers have been offered their first professional deals at the club.
The academy is a jewel in the crown in Berkshire, producing almost 80 first-team players since 1999.
Despite eight under-18s and seven under-21s departing Bearwood, six talented prospects have signed their first pro deals.
Harvey Maudner, Jacob Borgnis, Tom Norcott, Caylan Vickers, Jeremiah Okine-Peters and Basil Tuma have all been offered terms to remain in RG2.
Both Okine-Peters and Tuma are already regulars with Noel Hunt's Under-21s, with Tuma having already made his first-team debut in last season's Carabao Cup exit to Stevenage.

A deputy head boy at Eton College, Tuma started and played 55 minutes under Paul Ince in August.
βLast season ended little more than a week ago, but next season has to start now,β said Head of Football Operations, Mark Bowen. βAt this time of the year, making difficult decisions on how we begin to shape our squad for the challenge of our next campaign is never easy but essential in the planning for 2023-24. Loanees, first team regulars, Academy hopefulsβ¦I would like to take this opportunity to wholeheartedly thank every single player who has given his all for the crest and we wish those with whom we part company the very best of luck in the next stage of their career.β
