Reading were the only club in the Championship to average under 1000 away fans at league matches last season.
The worst league finish for over 20 years, the Royals were relegated to League One for a first third tier campaign since 2002.
Averaging 894 per match, they are the lowest in the Championship for the 2022/23 season.
Sunderland, Burnley, Middlesbrough, Sheffield United and Coventry City all led the way with averages of over 2000 per match.

The Royals, who have not won away from home since November 2022, are also the only team to not have a single match with over 2000 away supporters- 1989 at Queens Park Rangers the highest single attendance.
Reading were due to take over 2200 to Huddersfield Town on the final day, but over 1500 decided to not attend after relegation was confirmed before the match.
This average has dropped from 958 last season, which was a four-year high.
It was an unusually Northern-based division this season, however, with only Swansea City, Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Cardiff City and Millwall travelling more than Reading's 160 miles on average.
