Reading rounded off their Championship relegation campaign with a drab 2-0 defeat at resurgent Huddersfield Town.
Here are the ratings.
Coniah Boyce-Clarke, 5: A debut for the youngster so understandably plenty of nerves. More than one scary moment with the ball at his feet, the former England youth international will have learned a lot.
Andy Yiadom, 6: Run of the mill display from the captain. Looked to get forward when he could and defended well on the whole.
Tom Holmes, 6: Won his headers but was caught out once or twice in the tackle. Another average performance, doing little to catch the eye.
Naby Sarr, 7: Prevented two clear scoring opportunites, including a dramatic save off the line against his former club. Still sometimes slow with the ball at his feet.
Amadou Mbengue, 6: Looked to get forward wherever possible and raw pace helped the rest of his back four on more than one occasion.
Tom McIntyre, 6: Another solid performance in midfield for the academy graduate, breaking play up and looking to link defence with midfield.
Jeff Hendrick, 6: Similar to most of his appearances for the club, just a 'steady Eddie.' Does little to catch the eye but keeps the ball moving and looks to win it when possible.
Cesare Casadei, 6: Should have scored early on, hitting the post from a header, but also sent two or three shots flying over the bar. Someone with great potential, needs to find his consistency.
Junior Hoilett, 5: Quiet game by the Canadian's standards. Started well but faded quickly.
Femi Azeez, 6: Looked electric on the counter and delivered one or two dangerous crosses. Corners required work, and had little impact going forward on the whole.
Shane Long, 5: A difficult game for the veteran, who ran the channels but saw little of the ball.
Substitutes
Kelvin Abrefa, 6: Looked to get forward and impact the game, having little to do defensively late on.
Scott Dann, 6: Always tough for a defender to come on and get accustomed to the pace of the game late on.
Jay Senga, 6: Composed in midfield and did not look too out of place for what was his professional debut.
Nesta Guinness-Walker: n/a
Mamadi Camara: n/a
