Reading supporters on social media appear to have braced themselves for the disappointment of relegation next month.
Winless since February, the Royals sit inside the relegation zone with two matches to go.
Having played more games than those rivals around them, the odds are stacked against Noel Hunt's outfit.
Asking supporters whether they felt the team would survive or go down, the responses were clear to see.
I think we need too much to go our way sadly. Think we will go into the last game needing other results to go our way. So ultimately I think we are gone.

Down. I’ve come to terms with it

I'm thinking down (defensive pessimism)

Sadly down but I thought that a few games ago, glimmer of hope with Burnley and Luton games but after Sat I think we have too much to do and we are reliant on other results going our way, 6 point deduction has hurt but most performances this season have been unacceptable

Resigned to the fact we are down. Already preparing for league 1 and all it brings......

Heart says survive. Head says down! We’re far too soft. Mentally fragile. Lack creativity. Key players out… all that on top of the fact the teams around us have to play teams that quite frankly are already booking summer holidays and packing there bags!

However, there are still some supporters keeping the faith in the final two matches.
Down but the hope is there. Fingers crossed we get Meite and Ince back from injury so we can beat Wigan and see what happens

Think it'll go down to the last day with us and Huddersfield - can't see them winning both their next 2 and think we'll beat Wigan.

Really really unsure about which way it's going to end up going.
Just want to get to the final day with it in our hands, knowing a win keeps us up. Huge ask, but possible if Hudd don't win both next two and we beat Wigan.

Ever the optimist… while we still have a chance I’ll keep believing pic.twitter.com/Wmm2fx0Nih
