Reading are predicted to return to the third tier for the first time in over 20 years according to the latest supercomputer predictions.
Without a win since February, Noel Hunt's men are winless since being deducted six points for financial misdemeanours.
Two points in Hunt's three matches since taking over from Paul Ince has seen the Royals drop into the bottom three with two matches remaining.
FiveThirtyEight have predicted the club to finish 22nd, above Blackpool and Wigan Athletic, and return to League One for the first time since 2002.

Currently on 43 points after 44 games, the team are expected to gain three points and finish on 46, two points adrift of Huddersfield Town in 21st on 48.
Both Wigan and Huddersfield make up the club's last two fixtures of the season- with six points needed and a hope that results go their way.
