Reading captain Andy Yiadom is walking a tightrope in the final three matches as the final suspension threshold looms.
The Ghana international, having already served suspensions for hitting the five and 10 yellow cards before the cut-off, is approaching 15.
If he were to be booked twice more, having already picked up 13, before the end of the season he will miss three matches.
Three games remain with the club still inside the bottom three, so two bookings in the next two games will see the skipper miss the final day against relegation rivals Huddersfield Town.
Four players were given yellow cards in last night's 1-1 draw with Luton Town, including Andy Carroll who was booked twice and sent off.
Only five teams have picked up more yellow cards than Reading's 88 this season, with Tom Holmes and Mamadou Loum also in double figures for bookings.
Carroll and Loum have both had a red card each in league action.
