Reading forward Lucas Joao netted his first international goal last night, scoring for Angola against Ghana.
The 29-year-old, with over 150 appearances for the Royals, played twice for birth-country Portugal in 2015 but failed to score.
Switching allegiances in 2022 to Angola, the former Sheffield Wednesday favourite has played three times.

Drawing 1-1 with Ghana in 2024 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers, Angola sit third in Group E.
Central African Republic and Madagascar await Joao and Angola in June and September.
Teammate Jeff Hendrick played eight minutes for Republic of Ireland in a 3-2 win over Latvia, while he remained an unused substitute for the narrow 1-0 defeat to France on Monday.
