Reading youngster Coniah Boyce-Clarke has earned his first call-up to the Jamaica first team squad, despite still awaiting his professional debut.

The 20-year-old goalkeeper is incredibly highly thought of in Berkshire, having joined the club aged eight, and is a regular for Noel Hunt's Under-23 side.

Reportedly fending off interest from the likes of Manchester United in the past, his current contract expires in the summer.

He has appeared in three matchday squads this season under Paul Ince and has enjoyed loan spells with Welling United and St Albans City.

An England youth star from Under-15s until Under-18s, he has captained the Jamaica Under-20s team already.

In the squad with former Royal Adrian Marriappa, the Reggae Boyz face Mexcio on Sunday.

A club with plenty of history with Caribbean nation, the likes of Jobi McAnuff, Garath McCleary and Michael Hector have all represented the country while playing for Reading.

English football stars such as Ethan Pinnock, Bobby Reid and Jamal Lowe are all involved in the squad.
