There are now 12 days until Reading next play Championship football, making the relatively short trip to Bristol City on April 1.

Winless in March, losing four matches and drawing one, Paul Ince's side have dropped to 18th in the table.

However, for how long is still up for debate as the potential EFL points deduction continues to hang over Berkshire.

Defenders Liam Moore and Tom McIntyre were forced off in the first half in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Hull City, joining Shane Long in missing the remainder of the season.

Speaking after the draw with the Tigers, Ince could not wait for the international break to come.

"It could not have come at a better time," he said. "It will give them time to regroup and get ready for the next eight games. They’re going to be tough, but it’s a nice refresher for us so we can go again. It’s come at a great time."

Other crucial first team players remain out, with the likes of Ovie Ejaria and Yakou Meite yet to return.

"[Ovie] is probably another two or three weeks, Yaks another two or three weeks, Baba I don’t know yet. We can’t change much. Look at bench and you think what can you change, you can’t change a lot. These teams have strengthened in January, we haven’t."
