Reading battled to a 1-1 draw with Hull City on Saturday.

Here are the player ratings.

Joe Lumley, 6: Unlike Wednesday's defeat to Blackburn, the stopper had very little to do against the Tigers. Was beaten in a one-versus-one with Regan Slater, but apart from that just came for crosses predominantly.

Andy Yiadom, 6: A difficult game for the skipper, there was very little of his usual attacking intent. Good to see him back from injury.

Liam Moore, n/a: Making his first start for over 12 months, the former captain lasted 13 minutes before being forced off with another injury. Heartbreaking to see.

Naby Sarr, 6: Solid display from the defender, who won his tackles and headers will little fuss.

Tom Holmes, 6: Distribution was poor, with more than one pass going out of play, but defensively solid. Threw his body in the way of shots and helped protect Lumley in goal.

Tom McIntyre, n/a: Similar to Moore, was taken off in the first half with a season-ending injury. Struggled at wing-back in the time he was on the pitch.

Jeff Hendrick, 6: Ran around and kept the ball ticking over but did nothing extraordinary to effect either goal.

Cesare Casadei, 7: Another good performance from the Chelsea youngster. Loved to get forward and support the forwards, as well as tracking back.

Tom Ince, 6: Difficult afternoon for the top scorer, who struggled to get a real chance on goal. Was getting visably frustrated, and that only hindered his performance.

Lucas Joao, 7: Did all the good linking up play and looked good on the counter. However, when it came to his big moment on goal, he failed to shoot and his big chance went.

Andy Carroll, 7: Another Carroll special, winning all of his aerial duals and grabbing a goal, the fan favourite did his fair share in his own penalty box too.
