Reading youngster Mamadi Camara scored for Noel Hunt's Under-21 side ahead of his international fixtures with Guinea-Bissau.

The 19-year-old opened the scoring against Watford, but the Hornets levelled late on to ensure the spoils were shared.

Losing ground in the title-race, Bristol City and Millwall lead the Royals by nine points- although Reading do have one and two games in hand respectively.

Camara, who was a popular figure under previous boss Veljko Paunovic, played 10 games last season.

However, this season he has featured just twice from the bench this campaign for a total of 52 minutes and not at all since August.

Despite the lack of first-team action, he has been called up for the Guinea-Bissau first-team for their double-header with Nigeria.

The midfielder has three caps since his debut in March 2022.

Still only 19, Camara is under contract until 2025.

He has played prominently in the Berks and Bucks Cup as the Royals' Under-21 side look to retain the title they won last season.

Marlow await in the semi-final next week.
