Reading boss Paul Ince believes it is 'a bit unfair' as rumours rumble on regarding the possible point deduction without news from the EFL.

Stories were leaked to national outlets a fortnight ago as it was reported that the Royals are set for a six-point deduction for financial misdemeanours.

Speaking after defeat to Millwall- a third straight loss- Ince confirmed that there has been no update.

"It's a bit unfair. It was two weeks ago it was first mentioned and we’re all waiting- are we getting it or not getting it? "It’s not a nice thing to have hanging over your head because you don’t know if you’re coming or going. That’s probably why the last two games have been disappointing as we should have got points from them. Is it going to come? I presume it is. Has it come yet? No. Hopefully that’s the case."

Last week, Ince believed the club could have heard news ahead of the 1-0 defeat to Millwall, but there is still no fresh news coming out of the club.

With two matches remaining until the international break, Ince returns to former club Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday, before hosting Hull City on Saturday.
