Reading full-back Nesta Guinness-Walker has confirmed that there is an option to stay at the club in his contract.

Signing on a one-year deal in the summer from AFC Wimbledon, the 23-year-old has impressed supporters with his attacking intent from left-back.

Playing almost 20 times this season, and looking set for more involvement after the injury to Chelsea loanee Baba, there is a chance  for the former non-league star to put himself regularly on the team sheet.

Speaking to the media ahead of the battle with Blackpool, the great-grandson of Hollywood star Alec Guinness said: "It's hard to put your finger on but there is a real connection with the fans at home. I was speaking to someone early who was saying that Club 1871 is sold out for Saturday and as a player you can feel everyone galvanising behind you. Everyone is behind you and you can feel the push.

"I've got an option at the end of the year. I've loved my time at the club and it's a great opportunity. I've really embraced it and I said from the first minute that I got here that the fans, staff and players have really embraced me. I'm looking forward to seeing what the future holds."
