Former Reading goalkeeper Graham Stack has left his role as goalkeeping coach at Championship strugglers Cardiff City.

Stack joined the Royals in 2005 and played 10 times as back-up to Marcus Hahnemann, winning a Championship winners medal on route to picking up 106 points.

Still playing, as of 2022, with non-league Chesham United, the 41-year-old had a spell on the coaching staff with Watford alongside former Royal Hayden Mullins.

Joining the Welsh outfit in June 2022, the arrival of Sabri Lamouchi has marked the end of his time in the capital.

Taking to social media to make comment, Stack said: "My time at Cardiff has come to an end.

"I would like to personally thank the club for the opportunity to work at such a fantastic football club.

"I greatly appreciate the efforts and support given to me during my time at the club and I leave with fond memories."

The Bluebirds find themselves in a perilous position in the second tier, just two points above the relegation zone.
