Reading boss Paul Ince has confirmed that experienced striker Andy Carroll is set to feature in the FA Cup clash with Manchester United.

The 34-year-old has spent the majority of his illustious career in the top-flight, with his experience no doubt proving vital at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Speaking to the media ahead of the trip to face the Red Devils, Ince ran through the latest injuries and recoveries.

"He trained yesterday and he’s got no problems, so he is going to be fine, the former England captain said of Carroll. "Naby [Sarr] we are still waiting for, but I don’t think he’s going to make it. Hutch [Sam Hutchinson] is going to be another four weeks. We go with what we’ve got. Two weeks ago I was talking to you and had 24 players out on the pitch, now we’ve got 16/17."

Another two major injuries include former captain Liam Moore- who will miss the next four weeks- and Ovie Ejaria.

The former Liverpool youth talent is yet to return to training after sustaining an injury last month.
