Reading Under-21 pair Jokull Andresson and Ben Purcell have temporarily departed the club on loan switches.
Goalkeeper Andresson is to link up with League One outfit Exeter City, for the third time in his relatively short career, on an emergency loan.
He will be eligible for their fixture with Barnsley tonight and trip to MK Dons on Saturday.
The 21-year-old has already played 32 times for the Grecians, keeping 11 clean sheets.
Purcell, who was previously with Hartley Witney, is to return to Farnborough for the next month.
The midfielder was there last month too, but match time was limited due to fixture postponements.
Tonight's match against Chippenham Town has been cancelled due to a frozen pitch.
They are due to travel to Bath City on Saturday.
The pair joins the likes of Jeriel Dorsett, George Puscas and Luke Southwood out on loan.
