Reading are looking to move Ovie Ejaira out of the club, according to reports.

The 25-year-old is currently injured and has not played a part in the first-team squad since December.

Catching the headlines before Christmas, the former Liverpool and Rangers youngster was banned from the club's mid-season training camp to Tenerife for disciplinary reasons and has not been involved since.

One of the longest-serving players in the side, having joined on loan in 2019, and signing permanently in 2020, the former England youth star has racked up just eight appearances this campaign and netted just twice in the last two seasons.

According to respected journalist Alan Nixon, the club are keen to get the attacking-midfielder out of the club in this window.

With the transfer embargo and a full squad of 25, manager Paul Ince has confirmed that no players can come into the club until others leave.

Speaking after the 4-0 defeat to Stoke City, the former England captain revealed he would like to bring in two more midfielders before the deadline if possible.
