Only three teams have lower average away followings than Reading this season so far.

So far the Royals average 922 across the 11 away matches the team have faced so far.

Selling out fixtures such as QPR, Luton Town and Watford, less than 400 were present at the 2-1 win over Hull City on Saturday.

Last season's total average was 958, a rise on the season before Covid-19.

Wigan Athletic, Hull City, Rotherham United, Huddersfield Town and Millwall are  the other sides below 1000.

In comparison, Burnley and Sunderland average over 2000 and four teams have not had an away following of below 1000 all season.

The Clarets, the Black Cats, Middlesbrough and Coventry City have had more than 1000 away fans at every match on the road.
