It is second versus third at the SCL Stadium tonight as Norwich City travel to Berkshire.

Here are five players who played for both in the last 10 years.

Jamie Cureton

Fondly remembered at both clubs, the goal machine started his career at Carrow Road in the 1990s, scoring six goals in the Premier League and Championship.

Moving down the divisions, a prolific four year stint with hometown club Bristol Rovers caught Alan Pardew's attention at the-then Madejski Stadium, arriving in RG2 in 2000.

An incredible 30 goals in his debut season was not enough as the Royals lost to Walsall in the third tier play-off final, but among the 16 in the following season was a late equaliser at Griffin Park to ensure a return to the Championship at the expense of Brentford.

Nine goals the following campaign were to be his last for Reading- moving to Korea in 2003 before returning to the UK in 2004 with QPR.

He returned to Norfolk in 2007 and stayed for another three years before beginning his slow descent toward lower league football.

Still featuring ocassionally now, the 47-year-old is player-manager at Enfield.

Ryan Bertrand

A successful loanee at both clubs, the left-back has played Premier League football for the last decade.

Spending two seperate spells at Carrow Road, the full back made 60 appearances in yellow and green- playing another 51 for the Royals in 2009/10.

After finishing third in the Reading Player of the Season vote, he returned to Stamford Bridge and played over 50 times for CHelsea, including in the 2012 Champions League final.

Leaving in search of more game time, he spent seven years with Southampton and made almost 250 appearances and picking up 19 England caps.

Joining Leicester City last season, the 33-year-old has played just 11 times.

Lewis Grabban

A prolific Football League striker, the 34-year-old joined the Canaries for around £3m after a strong spell with AFC Bournemouth.

13 goals in 44 appearances, including one in the Premier League, was followed by a return to the Cherries.

Jaap Stam signed the forward on loan in January 2017 to help get the Royals over the line in the play-off race.

He contributed three goals in 19 appearances as the Royals made it all the way to the play-off final, losing on penalties to Huddersfield Town.

After successful temporary moves to Sunderland and Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest became his permanent home for the next four years, scoring 56 in 149 games.

He now plays for Al-Alhi in Saudi Arabia.

Chris Martin

Another Norwich City Academy graduate, Martin hit 34 goals in 117 appearances at the start of his career, as well as enjoying four loan moves.

His final loan destination, Derby County, would become his home for the next seven years, scoring 76 in 225 appearances.

In 2018, Stam signed the Scotland international on a loan deal for the second half of the 2017/18 campaign.

He netted once, in a defeat to Middlesbrough, as the club survived on the final day under Paul Clement.

Leaving the Rams permanently in 2020, he has found his scoring boots at Ashton Gate, hitting 15 in 73 for Bristol City.

Nelson Oliveira

A decade long association with Portugese giants Benfica brought just 24 appearances, and six loan moves, before joining Norwich in 2016.

Falling out with manager Daniel Farke in 2018/19, he spent the second half of the season on loan in Berkshire.

Iconic goals against Blackburn Rovers and Ipwswich Town quickly cemented himself as a fan favourite, but injuries would limited him to just three goals in 10 appearances as Jose Gomes led the side away from danger of relegation.

Leaving Norwich at the end of that season, he moved to Grerece where he has been successful with AEK Athens and PAOK.
