The stadium was named in honour of former chairman Sir John Madejski.

But Select Car Leasing, the club's main sponsor, has been linked with further investment in the club by putting their name to the stadium.

Reading have faced mounting financial issues with the EFL confirming last week that the club is under a transfer embargo.
