Reading-born footballer Fran Kirby has been called up to represent Team GB at the Olympics this summer.
Kirby came through the Royals academy and went on to score an incredible 68 goals in 42 appearances in blue and white between 2012 and 2015 before moving to Chelsea.

The former Royals striker has enjoyed a hugely successful season at Chelsea and was recognised for her performances by being awarded the Women's Super League player of the season.

15 of the 18 players selected to represent Team GB in Tokyo are English.
Team GB will open their campaign with a match against Chile on July 21.
