Omar Richards will be available to play in Friday's crunch match with Watford, manager Veljko Paunovic has confirmed.

Richards hobbled off injured during Monday's win over Derby County at the Madejski Stadium, leading to fears that the talented left-back may be set for a spell on the sidelines.

However, speaking to the media ahead of Friday's visit to Vicarage Road, Paunovic said: "Omar got a knock in his foot and he is basically fine. He trained today, he will be available for Friday."

John Swift may also play a part, although a decision on his involvement will be made in the coming days.

"Swift is in the final stage of building his match form.

"We have to decide in the next couple of days, but he is progressing very well," Paunovic said.

Versatile midfielder Felipe Araruna may also play in the coming weeks, having faced a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

"Felipe is back in training," Paunovic confirmed.

We thought he might need surgery, but we opted for one more treatment which worked very well.

"A month ago, the situation was not good.

"Now he is in full contact exercises in training. It looks good, we hope there are no setbacks."
