Here are our player ratings from Reading's 3-1 home win over Derby County.

Rafael - 8

Produced two fantastic saves in quick succession to deny Kazim-Richards and Lawrence halfway through the first half. Turned a vicious strike from Bird behind but was beaten by an incredible strike from Lawrence.

Andy Yiadom - 7

Maintained possession really well and was very strong in the challenge. Got forward well on the overlap but let himself down on a couple of ocassions with poor delivery, but otherwise a good afternoon.

Tom Holmes - 7

Filled in for Michael Morrison and didn't look out of place. Commanding in the air and even posed a threat in the other box.

Liam Moore - 7

Left a bit of space at times in the box but commanded the back four well and threw himself in harms way when it really mattered.

Omar Richards - 6

Was substituted with injury but had a decent afternoon before that, showing good skill to get the ball out of dangerous spots.

Josh Laurent - 7

Kept the midfield ticking over and covered a lot of ground to limit the influence of Derby's midfield players with a tireless display. Threaded some nice passes into the channels.

Andy Rinomhota - 7

Grabbed an assist for the opening goal and provided an effective shield for the midfield which allowed the midfielders in front of him to flourish.

Ovie Ejaria - 7

Showed some sublime pieces of skill out on the wing to get out of tight spots as Derby tried to crowd him out. Should have probably been awarded a penalty.

Michael Olise - 8

Opened the scoring with a spectacular finish from the edge of the box and provided a creative threat all afternoon, putting several inch-perfect crosses into the box from set-pieces.

Yakou Meite - 8

Produced a few nice runs and was full of energy and opened the pitch up with some searing runs into space. Combined well with Yiadom on the overlap.

George Puscas -  8

Show a fantastic strikers instinct to be in the right place at the right time for Reading's second. Worked the channnels well all afternoon and brought others into play.

SUBS

Lewis Gibson - 7

Did the ugly stuff really well after he came on and looked very confident and solid in the left-back role.

Lucas Joao - 8

What a way to answer your critics. Fair play! Scored with his first touch and looked to be playing with a point to prove during his cameo.

Neither Aluko or Esteves featured for long enough for a fair rating.
