Reading FC defender Tom McIntyre has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

The 22-year-old has suffered an injury to his quad, and manager Veljko Paunovic has confirmed that he will not play any part in Reading's remaining seven league games.

The news comes after Michael Morrison also hobbled off the pitch injured on his return to the team at Oakwell.

Paunovic said after the game that the centre-back said that his injury 'didn't feel as bad as last time', but he will be assessed in the coming days.
