Veljko Paunovic labelled his sides failure to convert chances as 'concerning' after the Royals fought back to draw 1-1 with QPR on Saturday afternoon.

Reading fell behind on the stroke of half-time when Lyndon Dykes scored from close range.

Yakou Meite scored to level the game, but each side missed good chances to seal all three points.

Speaking post-match, Paunovic said: It was a good game against a good opponent.

"I'm not happy with the draw, but I do think there were a lot of positives.

"In the first half especially, we created some very good chances and a couple which we missed.

"I have the same comment for the second half.

"It is concerning that it's repeating, the creation of so many opportunities which we don't execute properly.

"We can't afford in the Championship to miss so many opportunities.

"It's not easy to create but on the positive side, it's positive that we are creating.

"We have to connect that final part, especially moving into the final part of the season - it's going to be crucial.

"I'm happy with the spirit and the reaction after we conceded, and the adjustments.

"We didn't just score one goal, we had another which was cancelled and some other big chances which would have changed the outcome of the game.

"I'm proud and happy to see the team are frustrated about not winning."
