Royals manager Veljko Paunovic said that 'it felt like his team lost the game' after Saturday's 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest.

Yakou Meite came off the bench to earn Reading a point, but Paunovic was left angry that his side failed to take their chances and return to Berkshire with a fourth win from four

"We threw away the first 35 minutes. I think we did control the game. Everything was about us, but you have to take advantage of that.

"We can't feel good about being comfortable on the field. In the second half, it was the right spirit and the right way to play.

"I'm not happy about losing the clean sheet run, this is something we will have to recover.

"But, it was a good reaction after that [conceding]. I believe, we created so many opportunities that we could have won that game.

"The equaliser came very late, we spent so much energy to get that - even after that, the opportunities we had we were not fresh and we were not clinical, which was the key.

"I'm happy about the attitude, the identity and the character. But, I'm not happy with the point.

"It feels like we lost the game. It is important that we kept our unbeaten streak, but we have to go back to our performances in the last three games. Clean sheets and clinical in attack."
