Here are our player ratings from Reading's 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest.

Rafael - 6

Made a couple of really key stops, most notably from a rasping effort from Ameobi. Could do little about Forest's goal.

Andy Yiadom - 8

Provided a constant threat on the overlap and battled really well throughout the game to regain possession on several ocassions. Delivered some great crosses into the box. Came close to scoring as he hit the post.

Liam Moore - 7

Threw his body in the way of several goal-bound shots. Led the defence well and issued instructions as Reading looked to break Forest down.

Tom Holmes - 6

Scored an own goal but could do very little about it, with the ball right under the crossbar and several red shirts around him. Didn't let it affect him and had a solid game.

Omar Richards - 5

Should've done better with his marking on Ameobi who got past him easily to set up the Forest goal. Lost the ball cheaply a few times. Did keep working the wing well.

Tom McIntyre - 6

Another good showing from McIntyre in the heart of midfield. Shielded the defence and kept things ticking over in possession.

Josh Laurent - 6

Another intense and spirited display from Laurent who also popped up further forward and thread a couple of lovely balls in behind.

Alfa Semedo - 5

Against his former side it was a quiet afternoon from Semedo who gave the midfield a bit more physicality but struggled to create much on the ball.

Michael Olise - 5

Keen to get on the ball and drive at the Forest defence. Set-pieces were very inconsistent however as he wasted a few good opportunities to get the ball into a good area.

George Puscas - 5

Should have scored after being put through by Josh Laurent but could not find the target. Showed good work rate and dropped to collect the ball from the midfielders.

Lucas Joao - 6

Spurned a glorious opportunity to open the scoring in the first half. Kept battling and linked the play well and was a real outlet when Reading were pegged back.

SUBS

Yakou Meite - 8

Scored the all-important equalising goal with an emphatic finish and gave the Royals another dimension to their attacks. Looked hungry to prove a point after his absence and did just that.

Sone Aluko - 6

Plenty of running and a really direct style of play from Aluko who tried to force the issue out on the wing.
