Here are our player ratings from Reading's comprehensive 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday.

Rafael - 7

A very quiet afternoon for the goalkeeper, such was Reading's dominance. Claimed a few crosses confidently and did everything asked of him when required.

Andy Yiadom - 9

Grabbed an assist for Joao's goal with a neat cut-back and scored a late goal to add some extra gloss to the scoreline. Was a continual threat going forward and was a rock defensively.

Liam Moore - 8

Another clean sheet means another high mark! The skipper ensured Reading didn't lose their focus and demonstrated really good positional play to prevent Wednesday from being able to create much at all.

Tom Holmes - 7

Had a couple of shaky moments with his passing but made some crucial challenges to stop Wednesday's breaks in their tracks.

Omar Richards - 8

Complimented Reading's attacking options with some effective supporting runs. Gave a couple of needless fouls away later on in the game.

Tom McIntyre - 8

Had a very good game in the heart of the midfield and broke up the play with great effectiveness. Showed a good range of passing to set Reading away on several attacks.

Josh Laurent - 7

His ball recovery was as good as ever but his retention was slightly below his usual high standards.

Alfa Semedo - 8

One of his best games in a Reading shirt. Confident on the ball, created several openings and showed some really nice touches to get space in the Wednesday half. Battled well to regain the ball.

Michael Olise - 9

Was his usual dynamic and skilful self, effortlessly gliding past players and creating openings for his teammates with a stunning range of passing. Converted a penalty with supreme confidence.

George Puscas - 8

The game changed when he won the penalty which saw the Owls reduced to ten-men. His hold-up play and movement was again really encouraging. Looks like a new player.

Lucas Joao - 8

Nearly scored an audacious goal with a flick at the front post but got the goal his performance warranted with a composed finish. Battled hard and showed skill in possession.
