Reading FC manager Veljko Paunovic gave an update into the fitness of Ovie Ejaria and Sam Baldock after Friday's win against Bournemouth.

Ejaria was replaced by Sone Aluko in the second half and Baldock was not part of the squad for the win.

Speaking after the game, Paunovic confirmed that neither are expected to be ruled out for a long period.

On Ejaria, Paunovic said: "It should not be for a long time.

"He got a slap in the eye which caused blurred vision so he had to come off.

"He is being assessed and will see a specialist, but I believe this kind of injury is normally treated as a concussion.

"So, we have to go through that protocol but hopefully he can be ready for the next game."
