Here are our player ratings after Reading's comprehensive 3-0 at home to ten-man Coventry City.

Rafael - 7

Produced a good stop early on to deny O'Hare and then again in the second period to deny Ostigard. Was alert to the danger and had a strong performance.

Omar Richards - 7

Had a busy first half but coped well with the pressure on his side of the pitch, producing several important challenges to regain the ball. He added more of an offensive threat as the game developed.

Michael Morrison - 8

Didn't allow the defence to lose their concentration as Reading secured a clean sheet. Led the team with a vocal and efficient captain's display in the heart of the defence.

Tom McIntyre - 9

Barely put a foot wrong all game. His positioning was spot on, he was very assured in possession and looked incredibly mature. Will give Paunovic a tough decision to make upon Moore's return to fitness.

Tom Holmes - 5

Subbed at half time after picking up a booking. Had a difficult first half and lacked a bit of composure on the ball, which was nearly punished early on. Produced a couple of clumsy challenges but did nearly pick out Joao with a brilliant low cross.

Andy Rinomhota - 9

Marked his 100th Royals appearance with a brilliant finish for Reading's second. Moved the ball really well throughout and made a couple of crucial challenges to break the play up in the middle of the park.

Josh Laurent - 8

Did the ugly side of the game really well and showed fanastic effort and energy to maintain his tracking throughout the game.

John Swift - 9

Scored an unbelievable free kick to add Reading's third goal and produced a beautiful assist for Lucas Joao in the first half. Passed the ball expertly throughout and looked a continual threat.

Ovie Ejaria - 7

Looked more direct on the ball than in recent rweeks and hit the woodwork in the first half. Tracked back well alongside this and contributed to the defensive efforts well.

Michael Olise - 6

The quietest of the attacking three in midfield but still a good performance from Olise who was keen to get on the ball and drive at his man. Taken off with an apparent shoulder injury.

Lucas Joao - 8

Added yet another goal with a clinical finish, demonstrating his skill, composure and strength. Led the line well and made good runs throughout the game.
