Reading FC fans will NOT be allowed to attend games at the Madejski Stadium for the forseeable future after Health Secretary Matt Hancock confirmed that Berkshire will enter Tier 3 restrictions on Saturday.
Following a surge in cases across the South East, the whole of the county has been moved into the highest level of alert - meaning that supporters will not be able to attend games, until the tier level is amended.
It's a bitter blow for Royals supporters, who had the chance to attend three home games against Nottingham Forest, Birmingham City and Norwich City last night.
The new tier system comes into force from 00.01am on Saturday morning.
