Reading FC are set to be without three key players during the hectic festive schedule through injury.
Both Yakou Meite and Lucas Joao suffered injuries in the home defeat to Birmingham City last Wednesday.
Reading's injury woes continued in the dramatic win over QPR on Saturday afternoon, with left-back Omar Richards picking up an injury in the first-half.
Both Meite and Joao are set to be ruled out for the remainder of the calendar year.
Richards will be assessed in the coming days, although he is not expected to be fit for the upcoming two matches at home to Norwich City on Wednesday night and the trip to Brentford on Saturday.
The trio join Andy Yiadom, George Puscas, John Swift and Felipe Araruna on the treatment table.
Swift is expected to be the only one of those four to return before the end of 2020.
