Royals boss Veljko Paunovic praised his teams fighting spirit as they secured a last-gasp win against QPR at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

After a close fought affair between the two teams, substitute Michael Olise scored a screamer in the 89th minute to ensure Reading left West London with all three points.

The Serbian boss was delighted by his all round performance of his side, who were depleted with injuries heading into the game.

Paunovic told the club website: "I really enjoyed that. It was a great evening of football.

"And on this occasion we picked up three points and worked hard for those three points.

"This win is going to help us going forward.

"Every time we keep a clean sheet, it helps us develop the mentaltiy of the team, staying solid at the back and being patient to wait for your opportunities in attack.

"It's a superb result.

"We showed great team spirit and we are already recovering the identity we forged at the beginning of the season with strong performances, good results and clean sheets.

"We've built some very good form in the last five games.

"And it's nice to have a group of people all working together with an amazing spirit. And a team who fight to play until the very end."
