Here are our player ratings from Reading's frustrating 1-1 draw away at Hillsborough.
Rafael - 6
Was a bystander for much of the game as Reading dominated the play. His positioning for Wednesday's goal wasn't the best but it was a good finish from Paterson.
Tom Holmes - 6
Ultimately punished for going forward as Reach nipped in behind before setting up the Wednesday goal. Reacted well and contributed to a few Reading attacks with some good overlapping runs.
Liam Moore - 6
Moore was unlucky to see Paterson's header go through his legs but recovered strongly and helped organise Reading. Quick to react to rare breaks from the hosts.
Michael Morrison - 7
Looked an aerial threat going forward when Reading had set pieces. Didn't have much to do in the defensive areas of the pitch.
Omar Richards - 9
Brilliant from the left-back. Constantly looked dangerous on the ball and brought the game to Wednesday with a number of really dangerous runs, including one that should've resulted in a penalty.
Josh Laurent - 8
Helped build Reading's attacks from deep with another excellent display. Tenacious in the tackle and positive in possession. Should've seen his effort on goal late on result in a handball for penalty and looked justifiably angry at full-time.
Andy Rinomhota - 7
Another good display from Laurent's partner in the engine room, but his influence did fade a little as the game went on. Provided an effective outlet for the defence and linked the play well.
Ovie Ejaria - 7
Looked effortlessly comfortable on the ball and created Joao's goal with a fine cross. A little petulant in the challenge and gifted Wednesday a few fouls to relieve the pressure.
Alfa Semedo - 6
Plenty of effort from Semedo, who was unlucky not to get his first Reading goal with a wonderful first time effort in the first half. Struggled to get into much space as Wednesday dropped back.
Michael Olise - 8
Yet another great performance from the youngster. Picked out a number of great passes and looked a constant threat on the ball. Looked a little unlucky to be withdrawn.
Lucas Joao - 7
Got his customary goal with a good header in the first half but was marked tightly throughout and was limited to a few half-chances in the second half. Hold-up play wasn't quite as good as we've seen in recent weeks.
SUBS
Tomas Esteves - 5
Came on for Holmes but didn't create a huge deal as Paunovic looked to push him further forward.
Sone Aluko - 5
Provided more energy in the midfield after his introduction but didn't have much to show for his effort.
Sam Baldock - 5
Looked busy after his introduction and was perhaps unlucky not to win a penalty when he seemed to be kicked after a smart touch away from the defender. Again, other than that, not much end product.
