Here are our player ratings from Reading's 1-1 draw away at Millwall in the Championship.

Rafael - 7

A solid showing from Rafael after a patchy run of form. His positioning was excellent as he denied a number of second-half chances and showed good handling. His distribution was a tad of erratic at points, however.

AS IT HAPPENED: Millwall 1-1 Reading FC - Joao earns Royals draw at The Den

Tom Holmes - 8

Looked very solid upon his return to the starting XI. Was strong on and off the ball, defended astutely and supported the attack with a number of good supporting runs and deliveries into the area.

Liam Moore - 7

Positioned himself really well to charge down a number of Millwall efforts from the edge of the area. Handled Millwall's physical approach with a similarly aggresive approach and quelled the danger effectively.

Michael Morrison - 7

Cut out a number of deliveries into the area with good positioning. Performed well, largely, against Millwall's aerial threat.

Omar Richards - 6

Pegged back for much of the first half but defended well in the opening 45. Got forward more in the second half and supported the attack with some good movement off the ball.

Josh Laurent - 8

Another tenacious display from Laurent who covered a lot of ground to break up the play in the middle of the pitch. Had a busy evening but concentrated well and performed really effectively as Millwall pushed for the winner late on.

Andy Rinomhota - 7

Much like Laurent, Rinomhota was the engine again in the middle of the park and harried Millwall's midfield players, not allowing them much space close to the Royals area.

Ovie Ejaria - 4

Spurned a couple of good opportunities from set pieces and was laboured for much of the game with his passing. Showed a few moments of magic but struggled with the end product.

Yakou Meite - 5

Provided a decent amount of cover defensively but struggled to make his mark on the game in an offensive sense and rarely got into any areas of note.

Alfa Semedo - 4

Pulled off at half-time after a quiet opening 45 minutes where he struggled to break down the Millwall defence with his passing. Needed to provide an outlet quicker out of possession.

Lucas Joao - 7

Unlucky not to win it with the last kick of the game but scored a good leveller with a confident finish. A bit quiet in the opening 45 but improved as the game went on qith some good runs at the Millwall back line.

SUBS

Michael Olise - 6

Produced a stunning pass to set up Joao for the equaliser but faded as the game went on and didn't maintain his influence throughout the whole of the second period. Would've liked to see him get on the ball more.

Sam Baldock - N/A

Didn't feature for long enough for a fair rating.
