Reading FC boss Mark Bowen has hinted that Pele may have played his final game for Reading.
The Monaco loanee has impressed since arriving at the Madejski last summer on a one-year deal and has enheared himself to the Reading faithful with a series of combative performances throughout the campaign in the central midfield role.
However, with just two games remaining of the season, Mark Bowen confirmed after the defeat to Middlesbrough that he Pele has sustained a 'Grade One' hamstring injury.

Although he didn't explicitly rule out any involvement for Pele in the final two games against Blackburn on Saturday and Swansea next week, Bowen refused to deny that he may have played his final game for Reading.
Pele had previously stated that he would consider rejoining Reading, although these comments were made prior to the Covid-19 pandemic and any deal now appears unlikely given the financial constraints currently on the club.
