Reading FC have released an injury update on a number of long-term first team absentees, who have been continuing their rehabilitation work during the current lockdown period.
With football suspended indefinitely amid the global Covid-19 outbreak, a number of players have made long strides as they push to be fit for the resumption of the season - whenever that may be.
Both Ovie Ejaria and Andy Rinomhota sustained injuries in Reading's final game before the suspension of the season at Birmingham City.

Ejaria sustained a knee ligament injury in that game and is currently rehabilitating, and has begun doing some running. Rinomhota also sustained a ligament injury, this time to his ankle, and is also rehabilitating with a programme designed by the club.
Lucas Joao's long-term injury lay-off hit Reading hard after Christmas, with the striker suffering a severe hamstring injury on New Year's Day. He has returned to fitness now and is maintaining his condition as best as he can in the current circumstances, according to the club.
This is also the case for centre-back Tom Mcintyre, who has returned to fitness after he sustained an ankle injury in the dramatic FA Cup triumph at Cardiff City.
Forward Lucas Boye underwent hernia surgery and completed the initial rehabilitation period in Italy before returning to the UK to complete his recovery.
He also is now focusing on maintaining his current fitness levels as best as possible.
