Reading FC midfielder Charlie Adam hosted a Q&A on his Instagram yesterday and gave some revealing answers about his career and where his future may lie.

With the team currently isolating themselves amid the Covid-19 outbreak, Adam took to Instagram to answer some of the most burning questions from supporters.

Adam confirmed when asked whether he wanted to continue his time at the Madejski Stadium next season: "Yeah I have enjoyed [his time at Reading]. If there was a chance to stay I would."

However, Adam confirmed that uncertainty remains about his future at Reading - saying that he doesn't know what's happening next season yet in an answer to a separate question.

The former Liverpool man also went on to refuse to rule out a return to either Blackpool or Rangers, whom the Scottish midfielder represented earlier in his career.

The 34-year-old confirmed that he is currently considering pursuing a career in management after retiring, saying "Yeah, it's something I'm thinking about and am trying to look to do in the future."

Adam also went on to say that 'no, we wanna play when it's safe to do so' when asked whether he thinks the current season should be cancelled, and that Ovie Ejaria is the most difficult player to come up against in training.

He also said that his proudest footballing moment was captaining Blackpool and that he feels he should have received more caps for Scotland.
