High-flying Leeds United have reportedly joined the race to sign Reading FC academy graduate Rob Dickie.

Football Insider have said that the Yorkshire club have Dickie on their radar following his exceptional season at the heart of the Oxford defence.

As reported last month, Premier League pair Southampton and Burnley are also interested in securing Dickie's signature.

Dickie remains contracted at the League One outfit until the end of the season having played 85 times for The U's - scoring twice.

Oxford currently sit in third spot in League One - two points behind second placed Rotherham.

The 24-year-old academy graduate only made one senior appearance for the Royals, coming on as a substitute against Blackburn Rovers in 2016.

He departed on an undisclosed deal in January 2018.
