Reading FC stalwart Ed Franklin has left Reading following a 14 year stint at the club and is now working under the stewardship of former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger at Fifa, according to reports.

Franklin joined the club in December 2005, working first as a sports scientist for the academy before moving onto a number of other roles, including as the head of elite performance and head of academy sports science and medicine.
According to reports from Traning Ground Guru - Franklin has now set up his own consultacy business and is currently supporting Arsene Wenger's Talent Development Programme at FIFA on a six month contract.
