Royals centre back Michael Morrison has said that Reading have to find the answers as they try to return to winning ways against Barnsley.

After Wednesday's disappointment, Morrison has said that Saturday marks an opportunity for Reading to aleviate any relegation fears.

"[Wednesday's game] was a good opportunity to put the fear away, we haven't and we're in a little bit of trouble.

"Five points is still a good enough gap and if we get a result at the weekend, that could put the gap back up to eight - but yes, we're looking over our shoulders.

"At this time of year you won’t get an easy game. The results in this league can really turn on their head. There is no banker, everybody know that - that shouldn’t be any surprise.

“We know that teams will come here and work hard, press us and try to stop us playing our game. We can’t be surprised by that – we have got to find the answers and we have to find them quick on Saturday.

“There were a few harsh words exchanged in the dressing room after the game against Wigan.

“Football changes really quickly. If we go and win [against Barnsley] suddenly there’s a bit more positivity around the place and we could be eight points clear.

"It’s a good opportunity to get away from it again.”
