Premier League side Aston Villa have been linked with a move for former Royals centre back Jake Cooper, according to reports.
Football Insider has suggested that Villa will look to bring in the former Royals man whether or not they remain in the top-flight next season.
Cooper has found the back once so far this season for Millwall, who’ve enjoyed a solid season and currently find themselves in 11th spot in the Championship.
He signed a three-year deal with the South London club after leaving Reading permanently in 2017, having first spent a season out on loan with The Lions.
Cooper becomes the second former Royals academy graduate to be linked with a move to a Premier League side in two weeks, with former Royal Rob Dickie linked with both Southampton and Burnley reported to be interested in the Oxford defender’s signature.
