Andy Yiadom has said that Reading will not be making any special preparations ahead of the trip to Elland Road on Saturday.

Leeds United are currently in second spot in the Championship, three points clear of third place Fulham.

But the Royals right back said that the team were not making special plans to accommodate the threat of Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

“There’s a lot of history in the stadium and they are a team that are doing extremely well. Everyone’s looking forward to going up there and putting in a performance.

“To be honest, the game is not different to any other games in terms of preparation. We’re not any more focused, we just highlight the things we need to do to go there and put in a performance.”

Yiadom said that the side were facing no issues motivating themselves for league fixtures, despite being marooned in mid table.

“Personally, I’m excited to try and get a run together and some results in back-to-back games and keep moving forward and seeing how many points we can get before the end of the season.

“Having said that, we’re still only 11 points above the relegation – we’ve still got to try and kick on. You don’t want to stay in the middle of the league all season, we want to win as many games as possible.”
