Reports suggest that Araruna will sign on a permanent deal and sign a two-and-a-half year deal, with São Paulo set to receive a 40 per cent cut of any future transfer.
Ayub Timbe, who currently plays for Beijing Renhe, will be a loan addition and is expected to sign for the remainder of the campaign.
In addition to Timbe and Araruna, the Reading Chronicle understands that there is still interest in Portugese forward Pedro Mendes, who was linked with the Royals last week.
