Reading FC scored a dramatic last-gasp goal in the final kick of the game after Nottingham Forest’s Ben Watson had given the visitors the lead just seconds earlier.

In the most dramatic of twists, Forest thought they were taken all three points before Jordan Obita's cross was bundled over the line.

It means Reading now stretch their unbeaten run to seven games.

See our player ratings below Rafael: 6/10 - Poor distribution to begin with, particularly when kicking the ball long but made a key save early in the second half when Forest looked set to take the lead.

Gunter: 5/10 - Mr consistent against his former club. Did not exactly light up the game down the right-hand-side but defended well whenever he was called upon.

Moore: 6/10 - Tough battle against his former teammate, Lewis Grabban, but defended well throughout. Did exceptionally well to track back and clear Grabban’s effort off of the line early in the second half.

Morrison: 6/10 - Solid in defence but could and should have had at least a brace. He squandered a golden opportunity to give Reading the lead in the first half when Swift picked him out with a delightful free-kick. The ex-Birmingham City skipper also wasted another glorious opportunity, this time from a corner, early in the second half.

Blackett: 6/10 - So unlucky not to grab his first goal of the season as he cut inside onto his right foot and smashed his shot against the post. He’s a man in form and you can see why Reading want to renew his contract. Excellent work to drive forward in the second half and support Ejaria on the left wing.

Adam 6/10 Some key tackles in the first half and drove Reading forward in the second with his work-rate and pressing, not giving the opposition a moment to think. Reading needed an experienced player to grab the team by the scruff and Adam was doing just that.

Swift: 6/10 Poor with his passing in the first half and was sometimes guilty of holding onto the ball for too long but a superb goal-saving tackle against Silva more than made up for it.

Ejaria: 6/10 - He never lets anyone down and his footwork is a joy to watch but more so when Reading are leading a game. Was guilty of holding onto the ball a bit too long at times instead of getting it out of his feet and playing it early. Definitely not as effective playing on the left as he is in the number 10 role. Took a knock in the second half but hopefully nothing too serious.

Pele: 5/10 - Looked much better in the second half once Mark Bowen changed the system to a 4-1-4-1. Pele protected the back line well and allowed Adam and Swift to push higher up the pitch.

Meite: 4/10 - Not at his scintillating best today – he was off the pace in the first half and squandered a decent chance to put Reading ahead, albeit from a tight angle.

Baldock: 5/10 - Worked hard and consistently harried the defenders but had to deal with a lack of service today. Had a decent opportunity in the first half but he could not quite get the ball out of his feet in time and ended up snatching at his effort.

Puscas: 7/10 – Was largely ineffective when he first came on but he did the business when it really mattered to pressure the defence and force an own goal to seal a point for Reading.

Obita: 6/10 – Struggled to really get involved but a wonderful delivery in the 96th minute to set up George Puscas’ equaliser.
