CRAIG Haylett grabbed a brilliant hat-trick and Alex Allen also bagged a brace as Richfield Rovers began the New Year with a 5-0 Senior Division cruise at 116 Exiles, writes Richard Ashton.

Jon Bell and Matt Williamson got the goals for second-placed Woodley Wanderers as they beat Tilehurst YM 2-1, Serge Alladaye on target for the hosts.

Adam Bowyer, Will Vallins and Jack Bowyer were among the Burghfield goalscorers as they thrashed Woodley Wanderers Reserves 5-0.

In the Premier Division, Loxwood were seen off by two late goals as they suffered only their second league defeat of the season in a 3-1 reverse at home to Southcote Colts.

After controlling much of the first half and taking a 32nd-minute lead with a stunning header by Steve Barter, Loxwood started to lose their grip on the game after the break.

A rare defensive error by Michael Flatman gifted Colts the equaliser and spurred on by that, Southcote scrambled in a second after 77 minutes and then killed the game off five minutes later with a touch of class in front of goal to go top-of-the-table.

Will Frank's double proved insufficient for Barton Rovers as they lost 5-2 to Coley Park.

Second-placed Park Villa suffered a blow to their title hopes as they lost 4-2 at Whitley Athletic.

Shane Cooper-Clark scored twice for the hosts, with their other goals coming from Daniel Basden and Steve Francis. Kingsley Goodridge and Adam Toft netted for Villa.

Division Two table-toppers AFC Lowfield Green brushed aside Caversham United 5-0, but second-placed Rose & Thistle remain just six points adrift with two games in hand following their 3-1 win at Burghfield Reserves.

Aaron Attfield bagged a brace for the visitors with their other goal coming from Liam O'Reilly. Josh Cook scored a late consolation for Burghfield.

A Matt Wilkins hat-trick, doubles from Jamel Forde-Small and Davelinio Markus and further strikes from Jordan Cox and Aaron Evans led Tilehurst Club to a 9-1 rout of Earley Elite.

Lorenzo Medford scored twice and Dan Donegan, Joe McDonagh, Ashley Searle and Max Sweetman also found the back of the net as Emmer Green Reserves trounced GC United 7-2, the other an own goal.

In Division Three Bajram Doda took his goals tally to 22 in 12 games as second-placed Berkshire Dons FC crushed New England 5-0.

The top two in Division Four played out a 2-2 draw as Goring United earned a point at South Reading Reserves to stay one clear at the summit, albeit having played two games more.

Andy Taylor got both of Goring's goals, with Cary Grant netting for the hosts.

A Rohan Maynard double and a Stephen Turay strike helped Reading West beat Tilehurst Titans 3-1, despite Harry Roper getting on the scoresheet.
