KYLE Matthews and Lloyd Jacques were among the Berks County Reserves as they kept their Division Three promotion hopes alive with a hard-fought 3-2 home win against Hambleden, writes Richard Ashton.

Wayne Croxford and Tom Ellis were the visiting goalscorers.

James Przybylak came off the bench to bag a brace as unbeaten table-toppers Marlow United Reserves earned a 3-2 success at Maidenhead Town A.

Adam Rawlings was also on target for the leaders, with Tyriq Stewart and Joe Park replying for the home side.

Goring United were knocked off top spot after they could only draw 3-3 at Mortimer Wanderers.

James Gregory struck a double for the hosts and Nick Lyskov also hit the back of the net, while Dan Houseman, George Scoffham and Matt Hayden were the Goring goalscorers.

Steve Park struck a brilliant hat-trick for fourth-placed Robertswood as they thrashed rock bottom Taplow United Development 5-1.

Datchet Village overcame Cookham Dean Reserves 5-4 on penalties in the Berkshire Trophy Centre Intermediate Cup. The two sides were earlier locked together 2-2 after 90 minutes and 3-3 after extra time.

In the Junior Cup, a Dan Reynolds double and a Dan Carter strike fired Goring United Reserves past Henley Town Development 3-0.

Westwood Wanderers Development advanced in the Reading Jubilee Cup with a remarkable 7-5 extra-time victory at home to Woodley United A. The two sides had played out a 4-4 draw in normal time.

Perry Tessier-Hunt and Josh Cook scored for Burghfield Reserves in their 2-2 Berks & Bucks Junior Cup game at White Eagles, the two sides drawing 2-2 before the visitors went through 4-2 on penalties.
