Here are our best five Reading FC games in the last decade. You can read part one of our countdown here.

5 - Arsenal, 2015 (N)

It may appear a strange selection, but for me the FA Cup semi final against Arsenal deserves a place in this list, for one reason.

As a Reading fan, I do not remember celebrating a goal quite like I celebrated McCleary's equalizer against Arsenal. Having been written off ahead of the game, to see Reading draw level was incredible, given the stage on which the game was being played.

It was a valiant effort from Reading against Arsenal at Wembley and was a game which no Reading fan there that day will forget for a long time.

4 - Cardiff, 2011 (A)

Reading travelled to the Welsh capital for the second leg of the 2010-11 Play Off semi final with the game goalless on aggregate.

Cardiff were favourites going into the game with home advantage on their side, but Shane Long paid no attention to the pre-match script, scoring a deft lob to open the scoring at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Long doubled the advantage from the penalty spot and the travelling contingent knew that Reading had one foot in the Play Off final. Jobi Mcanuff's mazy run and finish capped off a brilliant display for Reading and took Brian Mcdermott's side one game from a return to the Premier League.

It was a special night in the Welsh capital.

3 - Bradford, 2015 (H)

Reading secured their place in a first FA Cup semi final since 1927 with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Bradford City at the Madejski.

After a goalless first leg at Valley Parade, Reading fans who had packed out the Madejski Stadium were expecting another tense evening with both sides looking to upset the odds and continue their unexpected journey in the FA Cup.

Steve Clarke's men however showed no signs of nerves, racing into a two goal advantage within ten minutes.

The game, truthfully, only looked to be going one way after that and when Filipe Morais was sent off and Jamie Mackie made it 3-0, celebrations began.

A truly memorable evening at the Madejski Stadium, one that had been coming for 88 years.

2 - Southampton, 2012 (A)

The 3-1 victory over Southampton at St Mary's is number two in our list.

The game which all but secured Reading's return to the Premier League, Brian Mcdermott's side secured a 3-1 victory against promotion rivals Southampton in a special evening on the south coast.

Jason Roberts' opener was cancelled out by Rickie Lambert, before Adam Le Fondre came off the bench and produced arguably the most important cameo ever from a Reading substitute.

Introduced in the 64th minute with the game level, Le Fondre produced two stunning finishes to secure the three points, which saw Reading leapfrog Southampton and open up a nine point lead over West Ham with four games remaining.

The scenes that followed in the away end will be reminisced upon by all those lucky enough to be there that night for years to come.

1 - Nottingham Forest, 2012 (H)

Our best Reading FC game of the last decade has to be the home game against Nottingham Forest.

A nervy affair for the majority of the game, Reading knew that one goal in the closing stages would seal promotion with West Ham only managing a draw against Bristol City at Ashton Gate.

With 'one goal and we're going up' ringing around the Madejski, Mikele Leigetwood was on hand to convert Ian Harte's delivery and give Reading a previous advantage.

It was an advantage that Reading held until the final whistle, which sparked scenes of jubiliation and unbridled joy at the Madejski Stadium, with fans flooding onto the hallowed turf to celebrate Reading's second ever promotion to the top flight of English football.
